Welcome to learning RAW food, this will be one of the greatest and most fulfilling journeys you will ever take in your life.

I am a certified Raw food chef and certified Raw and Living food Nutritional Educator. I received my training at Living Light Institute in Fort Braggs, CA. Living Light Institute is the worlds premier, organic, raw, vegan chef training school were many celebrity raw food chefs have trained.

I am located in the Chicagoland suburbs and this is my story and my passion; to tell everyone about the benefits of raw and living food and to see the miracles occur as people follow along this path with me.

learning RAW food is dedicated to helping people incorporate raw living foods into their daily diet. My classes, recipes, products, workshops and services revolve around the simple concept that raw living foods are fundamental to living at our bodies fullest potential.

Why Raw? Raw plant foods are simple, easy to find, fun to eat, enjoyable, contain thousands of health-giving nutrients, and conform to the biological design of the human digestive system. There is solid evidence that a living plant food diet eases digestion, boosts energy, and eliminates carcinogens. Eating a balanced mix of raw plant foods can restore health on a molecular level by building strong cells, raising alkalinity, and detoxifying and re-mineralization the body.

“You are what you eat” is a concept that has been known in every culture and civilization throughout history. Those who wish to heal themselves, should eat the most healing foods. “Healing foods” means quality, organic, homegrown, and/or foods that contain the highest nutrient, enzymatic, antioxidant qualities in their raw natural state. I am dedicated to helping as many people as possible succeed and prosper with the raw-food lifestyle.

I remember meeting Lena at a Recycling Fair in the Chicagoland where she had a tent set up with chocolate macaroons, sprouts and a veggie slicer. I worked my way over for a sample and started talking to her about what she was selling. That was the day my eating habits changed….and for the better. She introduced me to RAW foods and since then I have been hooked. Since I’ve started incorporating RAW into my diet, which was 3 months ago, I have lost 17 pounds (the remainder of my baby weight), experience ZERO digestive issues and have more energy throughout the day. I really noticed the change in my digestive issues when last week, I ate a fully cooked Thanksgiving meal and felt miserable hours later. I hadn’t eaten like that in months and I was shocked at the difference it was making without me really realizing it. I have lived with digestive issues for years, but it had just become part of my “normal daily life”. I am not 100% RAW and still eat cooked meals from time to time, but my choices within that frame still fall along the lines of WHOLE foods and food combining that agrees with my system. I’m extremely happy to have stumbled upon this not just for my sake, but also for my daughter who is still young enough to learn healthier options. She LOVES all the desserts I make and has started to drink my morning smoothies with me.
