Green Granny Elixer – Recipe
Green Granny Elixir
- 1 stalk of celery
- 1 granny smith apple chopped (skin on)
- 2 bananas
- 1 small hand full of spinach
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil
- 4 tbsp of agave nectar
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 cup of water
- 4+ TBSP of almond butter
Directions
1. Add all ingredients into a blender (I use a Vita-Mix) and blend until smooth. This is an excellent morning smoothie that should hold you over till lunch with the extra protein from the almond butter.
